In Memory of Timothy P. Susco

Thanks to everyone that made the 2011 Brain Aneurysm Race for Awareness a great success. The weather may have been rainy and cold, but almost 600 runners and walkers turned out for a great cause! And thanks to the almost 100 volunteers who helped make the race run smoothly despite the rain.
Thanks to everyone's support and generosity, the race raised over $50,000 for the first time, and we have now surpassed $170,000 in the four years the race has existed! Race donations will be split between the Brain Aneurysm Foundation and the Washington Regional Transplant Community!
Race photos have been posted HERE, but as we continue to receive more photos, we will update the website. Race photos can also be seen at our facebook page HERE.
Congrats to Gurmessa Megerssa (25:25) and Juli Sapper (33:01) who were the male and female first place winners! Gurmessa, who finished second last year, came back this year and edged out Bert Rodriguez for 2 seconds to claim the top prize. Juli blew away the women's field, finishing first by 52 seconds. Congrats to them both! Full results can be located at PRR's website, which is accessible HERE.
Weren't able to make it this year? Please consider making a donation. Donations can me made year-round to support the race. Race proceeds support brain aneurysm research and organ donation awareness programs. Donation information is available below.
