Brain Aneurysm Race for Awareness 8k

Race begins at 9:00a.m., rain or shine, at South Lakes High School.

Packet Pickup/Same-day Registration:
Same-day registration and pre-registered runners can pickup their race packets, t-shirt, and race number (no race number switching allowed) during the following days and times:

Runners can pick up their packets at Reston Hospital Center (1850 Town Center Parkway, Reston, VA, 20190).  Please stay tuned for dates and times!

 
Start Times:
Both the 8K race and the 2K Fun Run will start and finish at South Lakes High School Stadium

Fun Run: 9:05 AM

Entry Deadline: Please check back for registration fees and deadlines.

Race T-Shirt: All runners will receive a technical race shirt.

Parking: Plenty of parking will be available at South Lakes High School.

Awards
8K Awards:
The top three overall male and female finishers will receive cash awards:
$100 1st Place
$50 2nd Place
$25 3rd Place

The top two males in the following age groups will receive gift certificates to Metro Run & Walk:
19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 & Over.

The top two females in the following age groups will receive Gift certificates to Metro Run & Walk:
 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 & Over.

There will be no duplication of awards.

Awards ceremony will be held shortly after the last runner of the 8K finishes.

Random Prizes: An assortment of random prizes will be drawn before and after each award ceremony, so stick around and you might win something.
You must be present to win.

Times: Split times will be called out at each mile marker.

Water Stops: There will be one water stop on the course for the 8K.  Water will also be provided after the race.
